How to Import a Bank File into Spire
Spire organizes presets inside banks, and some downloads provide a complete bank file containing multiple presets.
First, let’s look at how to import a bank file.
The process is extremely simple: click the Import button in the upper-left corner and select the bank file, which uses the .sbf extension.
To open the bank folder, click Open Bank Folder from the menu.
This opens the /Users/your-username/Documents/RevealSound/Bank folder. Use this folder when you want to manage the files directly, such as duplicating or deleting them.
How to Import an Individual Preset File into Spire
You may receive an individual preset file rather than a bank file. Here is how to import it.
In Spire, loading a preset file replaces the preset currently displayed in the bank, so duplicate the bank first.
After duplicating the bank, import the preset file. Click Load Preset in the menu and select the file you want to load.
To import multiple preset files, switch to a preset slot in the bank that you are willing to overwrite, load a preset file, and repeat the process.
